Saving Livia

If you have not seen the touching video Saving Livia on YouTube (watch the video below), then you haven’t seen one of the most moving examples of a daughter’s love for her mother that I have ever seen. Chris McClay devoted herself to caring for her mother to reverse her mother’s cognitive decline, and her constant devotion, diligence, and compassion succeeded — her mother Livia responded and clearly reversed her cognitive decline. Tragically, after her improvement, Livia lost her life due to a surgical complication, but this in no way diminishes the remarkable care Chris provided, or the inspirational outcome that Livia and Chris achieved together. Chris, you are a role model for us all — thank you.
